Introduction
I am someone inventive and with many passions that since a very young age has run many successful projects that had varied within the visual arts as a photographer, film director, graphic designer and even as the editor of my very own independent zine called ‘Around the Boards’ that covered themes such as skateboard, sports and surf.It was a small free press magazine that was published and distributed in Emilia-Romagna that turned out to be quite successful and that had sponsors for a whole year.
I love travelling and to combine my passion for photography and surfing.
In 2010, after the terrible earthquake, I travelled to Haiti as a volunteer where I also worked on a reportage.
That same year I also travelled to New York City and later to London where I lived for five years and worked as a photographer and film director.
I like to work alone and in a team where I’m often seen as a leader.
Professional Profile
My first working experience in the world of photography was when I was 14 years old at my father’s, Mariano Apperti Photo Studio Weber. From there on I started to develop my own creative projects.
I continued nurturing my passions by studying graphic design and photography in high school and after my diploma I enrolled to L.A.B.A. (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti) where I graduated in 2010 in photography.
Throughout the years I developed my experience as a Director of Photography, working on different music videos for clients like Emis Killa and other artists in the rap scene.
In New York and London I’ve sharpen my skills as a film director and during these years I had the pleasure to work with many talented artists, magazines and fashion houses as a photographer and film maker.
