Ho il grande piacere di comunicarvi che sono uno dei 27 artisti selezionati e invitati a partecipare alla mostra di beneficenza organizzata da Youmanity intitolata This-Ability al London City Hall, un evento che vuole sottolineare le doti che le persone etichettate come disabili spesso sviluppano e creano, vivendo il loro quotidiano, nuovi punti di vista della vita che la rendono unica e un’opera d’arte.
Entitled This-Ability, our annual Photography Award aimed to challenge stereotypes surrounding disability. This video captures the essence of the project.

È stato stupendo ricevere la telefonata da Londra da parte di Angelo Ludice, un organizzatore di Youmanity, che mi invitò a partecipare alla mostra fisica per scopo benefico dopo la selezione di più di 800 artisti da tutto il mondo. Sono davvero contento al solo pensiero di poter aiutare con le mie fotografie e onorato di essere stato scelto.
Vorrei fare un enorme augurio a questa associazione, Youmanity, che crede e aiuta tramite l’arte e che dà l’occasione a molti artisti di esprimersi aiutando gli altri.
